EleTech Quikwave series

EleTech Quikwave

Triggerable Audio with Superior Output Quality
QuikWave repeaters offer triggerable audio playback of MP3 and/or WAV files in their native format without any conversion or transcoding. All MP3 models conform to the ISO 11172-3 standard and support CBR/VBR up to 320 kbps for the highest possible sound quality.

Removable Memory Technology
Instead of providing a fixed amount of internal memory, most QuikWave models are designed to play from a removable flash card. This not only allows the unit to be easily expanded, but also makes it easy to change audio contents in the field by swapping out the card.

Massive Storage Capacity
Most QuikWave repeaters employ SD/SDHC memory cards that are readily available in a number of capacities to suit different needs. Hundreds of sound files totaling hours of audio can be stored on a single card.

Standalone Operation
QuikWave repeaters are totally self-contained and powered by a single-voltage supply. Some models can be remotely controlled via a serial link. Others can be triggered with push buttons, relay closures, alarm/motion sensors, PLCs and etc. There is also a schedule based one that triggers from an internal realtime clock.

Versatile Configurations
Although most applications can be achieved with QuikWave’s default mode of operation, many others require different ways of operation. These special requirements can often be satisfied by configuring the system with a simple text file put on the flash card.

Audio-n-ActionTM Show Control
Some models offer built-in relays for controlling external devices such as solenoids, lights, motors and etc. With the Audio-n-Action technology, these actions can be orchestrated in perfect synchronization with the audio. An automated show control can often be constructed without any extra equipment.

Schedule Based Message Announcer
Model TA-100A is a schedule based message announcer that plays MP3 files at scheduled times of the day through either an external power amplifier (such as a PA system) or, with the integrated telephone interface, a PBX phone system (paging function).
